More about the Bourbon Trail®

 
In 1999, the Kentucky Distillers' Association (KDA) launched the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® with participation from seven of the eight Central Kentucky distilleries at the time. Recognizing the rise of up-and-coming producers in 2012, they added a Craft Tour to the program. From an initial seven craft distilleries, the program has now expanded to include 28 small craft and 18 large distilleries, a testament to bourbon’s enduring popularity. 

Participating distilleries extend a warm welcome to visitors, offering a range of experiences from production tours, cozy restaurants, bars, and picnic locations to botanical trails and hospitality venues, increasingly popular for weddings and corporate events. These distilleries are not mere production sites; they are havens for relaxation, allowing you to absorb the natural beauty of the grounds.
